This is a 4-page capital campaign brochure I produced for Dovercourt Recreation Centre's Building Expansion Campaign. I came up with the overall layout and all of the content. I also worked closely with the graphic designer in selecting imagery, and proofing the final piece.

I managed the production of this annual report from beginning to end. I came up with the overall concept, including the title. I wrote the message from the Chair of the Board, and the President and CEO, each of the "pull-quote" impact statements, as well as the 2010 Highlights. I also selected all of the stock photography and worked closely with the graphic designer.

This is a poster campaign showcasing the personal stories of various clients at Dovercourt Recreation Centre. I interviewed the people profiled, organized the photography, and produced all of the written content. The posters are now a permanent fixture at Dovercourt.

This is a public service announcement I wrote for the City of Ottawa. It is seeking public input on a zoning study involving potential re-purposing of corner stores in Ottawa.
This is a news release I wrote for the City of Ottawa. It spotlights the heroic efforts of City employees for their role in fighting a local fire.
This brochure was part of a larger branding campaign that I played key role in. The Canada Research Chairs Program was looking to invigorate its staid government look and feel. We decided to to put faces to the names of these ordinary Canadians doing extraordinary work. Language needed to be both accessible and inspiring to the average Canadian. I interviewed each of the researchers profiled, organized the necessary photography and produced all of the written content*.

These donor profiles are excerpted from a 52-page donor recognition piece that was inserted in the Globe and Mail. I played a key role in the selection of those profiled, conducted interviews, wrote copy and coordinated photography. I also wrote messages from the Executive Director, Frances Lankin, Mayor David Miller and Campaign Chair and Co-Chairs.
